For the data acquisition a very compact C Series module from National Instruments is used. The module has integrated selectable IEPE signal conditioning. It is connected and power supplied via USB which guaranties a maximum of mobility. Of course, the module has build in anti-aliasing-filters and one A/D converter per channel to provide synchronous sampling of all channels.
NI USB 9234 with 4 channels configurable as voltage or IEPE inputs. Fixed input range of +- 5V AC or DC coupled with a resolution of 24 bit. 102 dB dynamic range. The maximal sample rate is 51.2 kHz.

The camera used for this system is a high quality industrial USB camera. It provides a very good image quality and due to its exchangeable lens it can be adapted to various applications.
