Sound and Vibration Inspector - data acquisition and analysis

The Sound and Vibration standard software and National Instruments hardware acquire and analyze data.

We support all different kinds of sensors, e.g.:

  • Accelerometers
  • Microphones
  • Force sensors
  • Pressure sensors
  • Displacement sensors
  • DMS
  • Thermo elements
  • PT100
  • etc.

Thanks to the multitude of hardware from National Instruments every sensor can be connected to this system.

The Sound & Vibration Inspector supports a variety of hardware modules from National Instruments. It ranges from DSA (Dynamic Signal Acquisition) cards for acoustic and vibration measurement over multifunctional cards to special cards for measuring current, temperature or DMS. Supported systems are PXI/PXIe, PCI/PCIe and compactDAQ, even in mixed usage.

With the Sound & Vibration software data can be acquired, stored and analysed. The application oriented and userfriendly interface guarantees fast und flawless usage. Connected hardware from National Instruments will be detected and can be configured comfortably. Various analyses in time- and frequencyrange can be done online. Raw data and all results of analysis are stored in TDMS format. Under Offline-mode previously recorded data (even with Signal Inspector) can be analysed with the same functions as with Online-mode.

Various online-displays kann be added together then saved and loaded as layouts.
